Build update, Zenith's History

One month later….

It looked to be a major task, removing and replacing 65 ribs. I’d hoped I’d get one or two done a night. But a month after starting Zenith’s restoration the 50th rib went in.

Since the 14th December:

  • 50 ribs removed and new ones steamed and fitted.
  • over 1300 copper nails (3/4″ x 16g) nailed and bent over
  • 7 finger plasters needed due to the 1300 copper nails
  • broken 6 x 1.5mm drill bits

There’ll be a slight delay in work as I’ve nearly run out of copper nails. Normal service should resume soon and the final 15 ribs steamed and fixed.
